After they beat the Denver Nuggets 4-0, the LA Lakers are preparing them self to face the number 4 in the western conference, Utah Jazz. The first game will held at the Staples Center this Sunday (May 4, 2008). The Jazz qualified to the semi's after they beat Houston Rockets.
I hope this series is going to be one hell of a round. Both team are in their best shape. On the regular series the Lakers wins all of the match against The Jazz. The LA Lakers had the advanced to take the first two game in home, but it's not going to be easy for the Lakers to steal a game at the Energy Solutions Arena. The Jazz has an amazing homecourt advantage record for this season (37-4), probably the best in the league.
I think Jerry Sloan is going to give the task to Andrei Kirilenko to guard the super danger Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, it's to risky for him if he puts Ronnie Brewer to guard Kobe. Similarly for the Lakers, they have to put Derek Fisher to guard Deron Williams. Pau gasol and Lamar Odom probably will face Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur, all of these players are superstar qualified, so I think it's going to be a good round. The NBA predict that this round is going to take 7 games. Will Kobe finished it like he did it with the Nuggets?we'll just wait and see....
